Instead of sending your project to a faceless factory out of state, every piece is designed, hooped, and stitched right in our Devine Street studio in Columbia, SC. That means you can sit down with Shirly, see thread colors in person, and talk through the look you want before a single stitch is sewn. Our core embroidery service covers everything from a single meaningful gift to recurring orders for businesses and organizations. We embroider names, monograms, logos, and custom artwork on shirts, jackets, hats, bags, blankets, towels, and many other fabrics. If you are unsure whether an item can be embroidered, you can bring it in to your appointment and we will discuss the best approach and placement together. Because we use commercial embroidery machines, we can produce crisp, dense stitching that holds up beautifully over time. We adjust stabilizers, needles, and thread types to match the fabric so your design looks clean rather than puckered or distorted. For delicate materials like satin, cashmere, or leather, we take extra care with test stitch-outs to make sure the results are worthy of the item. Clever Orchid is appointment-only, which allows us to give each client plenty of personal attention. You are not rushed through a counter line; instead, you get to collaborate with someone who cares about the story behind your project.
