Custom Embroidered Hats in Columbia, SC

Logos, names, and coordinated sets stitched on caps, dad hats, trucker hats, and beanies — for teams, events, and small businesses across the Midlands.

Logos that actually read on a curved crown

We adjust density, underlay, and placement so your logo stays crisp on a curved hat front — not pulled or distorted like cheap online runs.

We help pick hats that embroider well

Not every blank hat takes embroidery cleanly. We'll steer you toward structured fronts and fabrics that hold a stitch and recommend alternatives when your pick won't work.

Coordinated sets for teams and events

Need 12 matching trucker hats for a tournament or 30 caps for staff? We handle small batches start-to-finish without the online-vendor headaches.

Reorders kept simple

Once your logo is digitized and approved, we keep the file on hand so adding new staff or restocking event hats is a quick conversation, not a redo.

How an appointment works

  1. 1

    Send the basics

Share your logo or design idea, the hat style you want, the quantity, and your deadline. We'll confirm what's realistic and book a time to talk through details.

  2. 2

    Design + digitizing

We review the artwork, recommend any tweaks for hat embroidery, choose thread colors against the actual hat, and digitize a clean stitch file (or use one already on file).

  3. 3

    Stitch, check, deliver

Hats are stitched on commercial machines in our Devine Street studio. For larger runs we may stitch a sample first, then complete the batch and arrange pickup or local delivery.

Pricing & turnaround

Custom hat pricing depends on stitch count, number of colors, placement, and quantity. Larger batches reduce per-hat cost because the digitizing setup is a one-time charge. Typical turnaround is 1–2 weeks once your design is approved; share your event date up front and we'll be straight about what's possible.

Custom hat projects go beyond a simple name or monogram. They may involve multi-color logos, special placements, or coordinated sets for events, teams, or small businesses. Clever Orchid works with you to choose hat styles that embroider well and suit your group. We will discuss quantity, timing, and design complexity together. Because hats have limited space and curved surfaces, not every logo will translate perfectly as-is. We may recommend simplified versions or alternate placements to keep the design readable and attractive. For ongoing needs, such as staff hats or recurring events, we can keep your preferred styles and designs on file so reordering becomes straightforward.

Frequently asked questions

How many custom hats can you make at a time?

We routinely handle small to mid-sized runs — single hats, sets of 6–12 for teams or weddings, and batches of 25–100 for events and staff. Larger runs are possible; share the quantity and timeline and we'll let you know if it's a fit.

Can you embroider hats I already bought?

Yes, you can bring in hats you've already purchased. We'll evaluate the fabric and structure to make sure they'll embroider cleanly. If a particular hat won't take a stitch well, we'll tell you up front and suggest alternatives.

What hat styles work best for embroidery?

Structured baseball caps, trucker hats with mesh backs, and dad hats embroider very well. Knit beanies and unstructured caps also work but with limits on detail size. We can steer you toward styles that fit your design and budget.

Do you do logos with multiple colors?

Yes — multi-color logos are common on hats. Because hat fronts are small, we may recommend simplifying very fine details or adjusting how colors are layered so the design stays crisp on a curved surface.

How long does a custom hat order take?

Typical turnaround is about 1–2 weeks once the design is approved, depending on quantity and our schedule. Rush options are sometimes available for events — share your deadline early.

Can you do back, side, or under-brim placements?

Yes. In addition to the front panel, we can stitch on the back, side panels, or under the brim. We'll talk through what makes sense for your design and the hat style.
